Man there were some good tv shows in the olden days. I mean you can see them on cable, but they were good. Does anyone have any old tv shows they use to watch when they were little, or still watch now? I like cheers and the Cosby Show and lots more.
Some of my old favorite tv shows include Transformers, x-Men, Full House, Step By Step, You Can't Do That On Television, Double Dare, Mama's Family, What Would You Do?, Wild & Crazy Kids, Bobby's World, Bewitched, I Love Lucy... I could go on forever as I grew up around a wide variety of TV, but I will say that the older Nickelodeon shows ruled!
Oh man!!!!!!! Full house rocked. I like the eppesode of cosby, where the men get pregnant!!!!!!!! it is so funny!!!
I remember the old old old ricki lake and the old old old classic jerry springer. and breaker high and sweet vally high.
Were the old Jerry Springer eppesodes as screwed up as the ones they have now?
not really. I liked them a whole lot better than I do now. The used to actually let the people beat the hell out of each other If the were pissed at each other or what not. One episode Somebody got mad at Springer and gave him a black eye and called him a bitch.
I can see why people would call Springer that!!!!!
OK some of the shows I liked were, The Flintstones, Dukes Of Hazard, Knight Rider, Hunter, T. J. Hooker, MacGyver, and Walker, Texas Ranger. The last is a more recent old show, that I watched from 1995 through 1999 or 2000. I used to watch Rescue 911 when it was on.
I don't know a habbet I have is watching soap operas, and stuff. I mean they're ok, but a little on the dramatic side.
Yeah, MacGyver was awesome! So is Walker, texas Ranger. I watch reruns of that show from time to time on USA, and catch MacGyver when I can onTV Land. I also liked the A-Team, Rescue 911, and Battlestar Galactica. I'm curious to see what sci-fi does with their remake of BSG... should be fun!

I use to watch The Brady Bunch, and Happy Days, and Sanford and Son! I also like 7th Heaven! aI haven't watched those shows since this summer, or so! I don't have time anymore!
I loved chears when it was around. Of course I still have fond memorys of the old Saturday Night live with Dana carvy, but ever since then, they've lost it.
Also back in the 80's, saturday's were something to look forward to, especially in the morning with all the cartoons, but you knew it was over when American Bandstand came on at noon.
But saturday nights were the best for me especially in the late 80's, because for three solid hours on one of the detroit channels we had, it was all wrestling! First they'd show the wwf spotlight, followed by NWA wrestling, and finished with glow, that's gorgious ladies of wrestling, and that was the deckade of saturday night's main event!
Garfield and Friends rocked. Pinkie and The Brain did too, and The Munsters, oh and Rugrats still rocks even though it's been on for like 10 years.
Another show I remembered was different strokes, and there was another show called silver spoons with Ricky Shroder, I don't know if anyone remembers that one.
Another searies I vaigly recall was Hart to Hart, along with Simon and Simon, and I believe that was a detective show along with others like Hill Street Blues and Magnum P.I.
Also a great music show that was on in the 80's was Solid Goald hosted by Dion Worwick, and their reporter was Nena Blackwood.
I've read all your posts, and judging from your choices of favorite TV shows growing up, you are all much younger than me. Here are some shows from the 60s and 70s that I watched growing up: My Three Sons, The Adams Family, The Munsters, Medical Center, Owen Marshall, Bonanza, The Flinstones, The Jetsons, The Partridge Family, The Brady Bunch, Charlie's Angels, and more I can't remember. From the 80s I liked Cheers, Wings, Designing Women, The Cosby Show and more I can't remember right now.
Hi I liked the incredible hulk, medical center, marcus welby, the partridge family, owen marshall sometimes. I wish they'd bring marcus welby and medical center back. tv land showed marcus welby for a while, but then they took it off. I haven't seen medical center in over 20 years.
wonderwoman
I miss breaker high Clueless:the series Saved by the bell, Hang time, One world, Steep-by-step hanging with Mr. cooper.
Hmmm. I grew up in the Seventies pretty much, and most of what I watched were cartoons, as there wasn't much science fiction during prime time until Battlestar Galactica, so it was mostly cartoons. I saw the original Saturday Night Live when it ran and also SCTV in the Eighties. I remember watching Different Strokes and WKRP. I still like WKRP in reruns. I like a lot of Sixties reruns these days, so it's Adams Family, Bewitched, Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, Green Acres, Dick Van Dyke Show, and all that. Saw Carol Burnett in reruns and am glad it's back on TV-Land. Oh, and I used to watch the Muppet Show as well. I also enjoyed a lot of the older cartoons I'd see in reruns. Superchicken, George of the Jungle and the other Jay Ward productions were all good. Underdog was cool, and I enjoyed Bugs Bunny and all the Warner Brothers toons, except for Road Runner as there was no dialogue. When I was a kid I also enjoyed many of the animated holiday-type specials they ran. Oh, and I forgot the old Star Trek cartoon series and Captain Marvel, Far Out Space Nuts, Lost Saucer, and Fat Albert.
